Long term appears to reduce the vocal range and control.

Coffee, milk, carbonized water and other carbonized drinks will make you feel thirsty soon after you've drank them, so they are not to be drank before a singing act.
As far as I'm informed, celebrities such as Britney Spears or Michael Jackson tend to have awkward customs such as "drinking" a raw egg or two before a concert in order to sing smoothly. ;)

the best thing to drink while singing is room temperature water but soda does not damage your voice cause if it did i would be out of gas
