what should i be for halloween this year? last year i was a 20's mobster chic and it was awesome, i dont really like dressing up like a slut for halloween thats for teenagers, but i do wanna look hot, i want something unique and different

Browse through the various costume sites and see what catches your eye. You can even check out pattern catalogs at the fabric/craft stores if you want to sew your own.
What types of costumes appeal to you? Vampire, medieval maiden, Greek goddess, something else entirely?
Another place to check out is http://www.craftster.org . On their forums there's a section just for Halloween with a stickied thread or two with pictures and ideas using homemade stuff and not a lot of sewing involved.

I was a bather last year. I wrapped a big towel around me and pinned it together just for safety purposes. I put on my shower slippers and a shower cap. To finish off the look I glued little bits of cotton balls and glitter on me to look like bubbles and I carried around a loofah with a long handle. Of course I wore shorts and a tube top underneath everything.

for example:Static Cling: Wear any kind of mismatched clothes, pin one pant leg up, pin dryer sheets on you as well as socks, small towels, etc., and then use hair gel to make your hair look like it has static.
Wicked Witch of the East: Design a large box to look like a house. Place it over yourself, cut holes so you can see out, and so that your legs show. Wear striped stockings and red glittery shoes. (Or wear black sweats and hang striped stockings with red baby shoes attached to look like the legs dangling underneath the house.)

what always help me is I'll find a piece of article(cute wig or something) and work from there..however, since you picked a costume from a particular era, why not another? maybe during Egyptian times? Cleopatra was hot during her time and she is still hot now.

just be something you'll never want to be. like a 50's housewife or road kill. just wear all black with 2 yellow lines and attach an old stuff animal to yourself.
its the only time of year to not be yourself!

it's not that unique but i felt really hot one year when i dressed as a she devil, wore short black skirt with black high heel boots, got a red pitfork and devil ears with red lipstick and dramatic eyes. or how about the green fairy from moulin rouge (was kylie minogue)?

If you have a cheerleading outfit (or if you can borrow one), go as a zombie cheerleader. I went as that one time and I looked awesome. Sexy and spooky at the same time. lol
