If you want to get rid of DSL completely, your only real alternative is cable TV internet, and you probably only have one provider in your area, so whoever is your cable TV provider. If you want to stay with DSL, but use another company search on "DSL provider" and add your zip code or area code. That will tell you who you can use. Bottom line, the actual physical connection is always provided by your local telephone company. The different DSL providers are really just different companies with different servers you are connecting to. If your problems are with you actual physical connection you need to go to cable. If the problems are things like passwords etc, try a different DSL provider. If you can get Cox, it's supposed to be one of the best and fastest out there.

Well, your question is kinda confusing, but I will try my best to help you out. When you said that you had DSL, that is a type of internet connection, just like dial-up or Cable. When you talk about specific companies, those are just who provides the service. I would have to say that the best for the money would be to go with COX Digital Cable. Cable Internet usually provides a 100 Mbps connection which is pretty good for what you pay, plus you can digital cable with it, and the bundle shouldn't empty your pocket book.

Whatever other problems you may have, I strongly advise you to stop typing in all caps. You may have noticed that nobody else is doing that.

It is very poor "netiquette," because IT'S LIKE SHOUTING!!

About your DSL conundrum, I suggest you talk to somebody local. Finding a good DSL provider is highly dependent on your location.

One website that you may find helpful is 2Wire.
