Most of my girlfriends suck. They were phony and not friends at all. Most men just want to be friends so they can try to get laid. I think gay friends would be fun and easier to get along with.

My best friend is gay and my fiance's best friend is a lesbian! :) It makes it easier to know that we have best friends of the opposite sex who won't hit on us! :) However, I do have a lot of gay male friends from school...although male or female...doesn't matter. I love hanging out with my best friend...he's so funny! Such a character! It is nice to have someone you know won't hit on you or play the "*****" girl with you. My best friend can get a little bitchy sometimes though...I have to laugh at him. He calls me a lesbian because I can change a tire...but all in all....nah you're not strange!

It's not strange as long as you don't want to have gay friends for the sake of your token gay friend. All of my gay friends are pretty much the same as my other friends with the exception that they sleep with the same sex. Easier to get along with depends on the person though not the lifestyle.
What you need to get while you are shopping for friends are some new girlfriends.

Gay or strait people are people. There is drama in gay relationships as well as strait. Depends on the individual. Some of my friends are gay and yes there is no sexual tension so it is a +. I do like that. I don't like to be in a box so I don't want to label anyone bad/good/indifferant. People just are. If someone has problems that can change too.

i kinda agree with you. gay guys seem to be goofy and not care what other people think. and all girls worry about is drama. thankfully im lucky to have a best friend, girl, who feels the exact same way as me. we dont deal with drama or any **** like that. we just have fun.

nope not wierd at all acually thats pretty smart cuz gay guys u wouldnt have to worry about them hitting on u all the time and plus iv herd they're really good friends cuz they're so sensitive.

Not that wierd. Sometimes you want a good friend, where sex doesn't come into play and you just see one another in the "true friend" way.
