I don't care about the points, that's not why I am into this. I feel like if anything I can say from my own experiences can help someone else, then so be it. I am a very good listener and have had a couple of the best answers in my favor, but there again, points do not matter, subject matter and making someone understand that there are certain reasons for things that we sometimes don't understand. I am only 48, married with an 18 yr old daughter and let me tell you, I've seen just about everything. I only hope that if I put out a question, that someone would try to help me with my problem not for the points, but just because you truly may be able to make someone feel better about whatever situation they are going through. Why do you answer questions?

It depends on the question. I like it when I can help someone out. Some questions are just for fun. Others, are just a good way to kill time.

finding stuff for someone who needs it.

The points strike me as useless since its a race I can't win. The guys with level 7 points have profiles that say they got 2k this week. Maybe they work for Yahoo!

Most of the time I answer for the satisfaction of knowing I could be helping someone.Sometimes the questions are so ridiculous that I just can't resist.

The value of points is not worth a dime,
While the joy of helping is truly sublime!

I would have to say that it depends on the question. If a serious one I give my honest opinion, if the question is dumb well I just enjoy it. Its fun.
