The answer to this question depends on many things. The bending that you propose, would it mean that the legs at the knees and the hips was reversed or that they would be double jointed and bend both ways equally.
I'm thinking that chickens have legs bent differently that humans, so we'd probably walk more like chickens. Hopefully our heads wouldn't bob as much. We may end up with bean bag nests to sit on our haunches instead of chairs we have today.
If our legs bent backward at the hips, would our glutes form on the front the way they are on the back now. They would have to holding up the weight of our body with the reversed bend.
Interesting thoughts this question brings up. Anyone visualizing a really buff Ostrich with no feathers?

So your proposing sitting in a chair with your legs bent the other way. Your face would be looking at the wall instead of the t.v. And come to think of it wouldn't you be sitting on your man parts? ahahaha, I guess it would help cure people wanting to become couch potatoes! In the words of Paris Hilton, "That's Hot!"

Chairs- would that include toilets? Ow, I don't think we could call them chairs anymore. Might have to call them something else, like "temporary resting module stumps", or "Anti-standing stance-ulators". Whoa- I think I would really really like more padding tho.

Like a stool. You wouldn't have to have a backrest because your legs bend the other way.
