I think it found a hole that was cut for the electrical for the oven and is inbetween the walls.
ANNOYING......HELP!

I would suggest u use a spray for insects & pestisides between the hole u think the cricket is.
Another method is to burn some incense sticks or neem leaves, the fumes usually will bring out the cricket, n then u can strike it or kick it out.

blackguylover has it correct take it as a sign of good things to come, you just have to learn to enjoy the sound of the cricket if you listen carefully it can be truly meditative

go to the hardware store and ask for foam insulation and fill the wall you need an opening about 1/4 " in dia. to get nozzle of the can in.

I was always told that when a cricket gets in your house that its good luck & that you are not suppose to kill them. You are suppose to catch them & put them back outside.
