I need to dispose off some old CDs...should I just throw them in the dustbin or it should go with plastic waste ? Are recordable CDs recyclable?

Try trading them in, maybe you can get money for them other than just trowing them away.

I urge you to sell it on EBay because, it is going to be recycle that you get something back so you have more cash to buy more CD in the future or you can check at the Music store that buy back the old CD and you can get rid of them quick. Make sure you call them first before you go and you can find them from the phone books. I am glad you ask a question and did not throw them in the trash can. By the way,you can sell it to the Yahoo Answer Groups and give them a special price, I think it is the best idea.

Use them as chicken scarers - for some reason maximum birds do no longer basically like the bright/metallic part of CDs. Or use previous CDs as mug/cup/glass coasters, so which you do no longer depart moist rings throughout your tables.

Why throw them away? You spent the money to buy them right? You might as well sell them on eBay! Get some money out of them right?!
