It appears King Solomon was a wise man... just a shame that wisdom is meaningless, and all is vanity! hahaha and no one shall remember him soon enough as he returns to the earth as dust and I shall in many years to come...

I dissagree with ...92..GM. Pessimism in moderation works really well for some of us. I am married to an optimist and I tell him it gets on my nerves when he thinks everything will work out fine because he never has plan B. I expect things to go wrong most of the time, and sometimes REALLY wrong. And when they do, I am prepared with plan B and C. It doesnt mean I sit and worry about crap happening, I dont. I know life sucks that way often and there is nothing I can do. I accept it, hope for the best but always prepare for the worst. That way I am only slightly dissapointed, if at all, and when things do work out -- I am reallyhappy and excited, its like getting a surprise present. It works very well for me, and I live a good life, as good as it gets in this world full of bad stuff happening every day....!

I think in many people it is a trait they are born with, and they also learn it from their parents. People cringe at the word counseling but that would help greatly for you to have a rosier life. You could see the glass as half full instead of half empty.

Just try to find something that can take your mind off of your worries, such as a hobby or whatever. If you still can't get over it, then see a doctor or something, because you might be clinically depressed.
