Do you hide your true personality from most people?

I don't care enough about other people to try to hide my "true" self from them.

Moreover, it seems a bit misleading to say that we hide our true selves from others. That makes not a darn lick of sense because there are no false aspects of our personality. We do not hide our true personality, we only show certain aspects of it to others.

Also, the average person is a teeming ball of unconscious contradiction. If they were to reveal their "true self" to anyone, I'm fairly certain that person would collapse under the weight of their own unexamined life.

yes and no. we have alot of roles to play in this society. when we're at work, we have to act professionally, when we're with friends, we can be laid back and sort of relax but even then, we still play a diff. role. the one who know's your personality well should be you. it's kinda hard to let loose when you know you're being judge at every aspect of you, you know.

yea, people at school besides my friends don't even know that I speak more than a few sentences.
