The best way would b thro sendin Demo tapes.
But its gonna tirin dude. U 'll have to send it to lotsa ppl. U have to keep up the faith always. N always remember when u send a Demo tape... make sure that ur best track is placed in the beginin. Cos 1st impression is the best impression. Moreover the A&R guys in record comp would have to go thro lotsa demo tapes sent by guys like u. So if u don't hold their attention within the 1st minute that they play ur cd or tape..... they would obviously chuck it. N make sure that u send only samples of the track. Don't send long trax.
Moreover u should know who to send. For Ex..... If u r a trance producer...n if u send ur trax to a record comp which concentrates in rock... they obviously r not gonna give a f.u.c.k abt u n ur music. So make sure that ur music reaches the right ppl.

1. Learn to play an instrument or sing.
2. Start a band.
3. Practice, Practice, Practice!!!!!!
4. Start booking small gigs.
5. Hire a booking agent.
6. Make a CD to sell at your shows.
7. Sign to a small label. What usually happens is that they will sell you to a big label. (If you are good enough.)
If you are not good enough, then it probably won't happen. I was a great guitarist once in my life, but the band I was with was bad. Had a record exec tell me one time that if I ever put together another band to call him. I never called.

Demo Tapes. And learn who to send them to. Send out as many
as possible. It's possible someone will like what they hear. If u
use web search....type in Record Labels, or Record Companies.
There is SO MUCH info out there !!! NAMES TOO.....So that is
another really good fast way. Put " Material Requested" on the
manilla envelope or whatever. It might help. But go for a name,
a certain person to send it to. An A&R Rep, etc. Besides playing
live. Just another avenue. Good Luck.....

start a band, play live and build a following, or start a myspace music page and build a following that way
