I have a 1993 pontiac bonneville, a brand new AC compressor was replaced, the AC worked for about a month then the air stopped getting cold, i had it looked at there were no leakages, it's still full of freon, the person looking at my car had reseted some tpye of switch or fuse then the air started getting cold again, it only lasted for month and went back out, what could possibly be the problem? or what type of switch would it be?

Sometimes if the freon is overcharged you will experience the same thing. If not that, then my guess is the you have a bad relay,

Based on your information... this sounds like a clutch problem. I believe the person you spoke of replaced a fuse or relay. Either way you need to have the A/C electrical checked out to eliminate blowing the fuses and/or relays.

if you go to some place like midas or look in the yellow pages you can get the ac fixed for about 40 bucks. or take it to the shop that u got it repaired @ it should be under a warranty. Just explain that it's not working correctly since they ac compressor was installed...good luck

I had the comparable situation. it truly is the followers. they are frequently behing the grill of your motor vehicle. that's what help retains your engine cool at an idle. which might clarify why your a.c. works extra effective while the motor vehicle is shifting. If it truly is no longer it then you definately might pick a re-can charge or a sparkling compressor and dryer.

Keep after the repair people to get it fixed. And ask if the repairs are under warranty. You may need the another unit.
