I have a 18 year old girl at work who calls herself the "DIVA" LOL It is so annoying! She struts around and is so mean to everyone else that works there. She isnt all that cute and could stand to loose about 15lbs. She hates me with a passion but is afraid to say anything to my face and when I leave the room she tries to talk bad about me. She only dates guys with plenty of money to buy her gifts. I dont hate her, but I think her attitude sucks! She reminds me so much of me when I was her age.. How do I deal with this little *****?? I cant just ignore her, she is the receptionist and handels all my appointments.

I cannot fire her... Her older brother and my boss are best friends.. My boss knows how she is.. She is even lazy at work and wont do the things asked of her...

i feel the same way. i look at people a few years younger than me and i realize how bratty and snobbish i was then and i want to stop them but theres no way!!!

Roo...sounds like you could be a little jelous, but why drop yourself to the level of some Jamtart. Think about all you have to offer...ie....you are probably not still living at home, you know what its like to pay a bill, you probably know what you want in a man (real life and in bed) etc.
Plus the fact that you seem pretty hot from your 360...I wouldnt worry about it. This is not competition, cause shes not even in the same league.
Guys that you would consider dating you wouldn't look twice at this little Twirl girl, so why should you care.
As I've grown older (only 29) even I have stopped to listen to the kids at bars and stuff, (who are serving drinks for $6 an hour) and realize that they make me wanna stab myself in the ears just for hearing the way they talk.
Just keep being you.

i am 24 so i don't know what category i am in. I take it you are a business women so you can't be mean to her just handle her like a nice human being. the phrase kill them with kindness actually works..and trust me karma is a ***** it will catch up with the diva one day

For one thing don't call your daughter a *****. It's not cute or funny and you cannot except her to respect your position if you do not respect hers.
With that said, maybe it's time to cut the apron strings. It will make her appreciate you more and change her attitude at the same time.

Confront her and ask her you wish to talk in private and let her have it. Tell her straight up how you feel about her attitude and something needs to change or you are going to kick her a-s-s. Or tell your ownership or managment at where you work about this problem.

yea, that sucks! maybe you can talk to her and discuss the problem, if you have the authority, put her in her place. if that doesn't work and you have the authority to fire her, then do so.
