My friend is a big Misfits fan, and he's been searching up and down for Evilive II, a rare CD only given to fan club members a while back. Would I ask fan members of the past? Would I go on eBay? Is there a specific way to go about it? Hopefully a true fiend could help me with this question.

G'day Kristen O,

Thank you for your question.

You could try on e-Bay. You might pay a bit though as they are very rare.

Evilive II is a very rare live CD by The Misfits only available to members of the Fiend Club and was not sold in stores. It consists of live recordings from 1997 to 1998 with Michale Graves on vocals, Jerry Only on bass, Doyle on guitar, and Dr. Chud on drums. It is currently out of print and is very collectible among Misfits fans, known as "fiends". The original Evilive was released during the band's 1977-1983 era with Glenn Danzig on vocals.

The tracks are:

1. Intro & Abominable Dr. Phibes
2. American Psycho
3. Walk Among Us
4. Hunger
5. From Hell They Came
6. Speak Of The Devil
7. Last Caress
8. Dig Up Her Bones
9. American Nightmare
10. Day Of The Dead
11. Hate The Living, Love The Dead
12. Shining
13. Dont' Open 'Til Doomsday
14. This Island Earth
15. Where Eagles Dare
16. Bullet
17. Vampira
18. Haunting
19. Die, Die My Darling

They are as scarce as hens teeth apparently. You could try www.misfits.com but they may not be selling them.

Regards

There is at least one of these on ebay right now, but auction ends this weekend. Type misfits under music, ckick on cds only, and its about 3-4 items down the list of 100 or so.

Try eBay. There are also online record stores that specialize in rare, hard-to-find music. If you have an indie-record store in your area, you could try starting there.
