For some reason, in my iTunes, under "shared music," there is random playists of people that i have never heard of before. They all say something like "Collin's LimeWire iTunes" or "Jacqueline's LimeWire iTunes" and there is even on that just says "Bex." They are constantly changing, and there are new ones everyday, and others leave. When i click on them, nothing happens. And i can't delete the shared music section or any of these playlists. I don't ever remember downloading LimeWire!!

iTunes automatically connects to computers that are close to the network you're using only if those people allow the connection. If you go to the options part of iTunes and allow people to see your playlists, then they can. However, no one can see your playlist probably because by default, the option is set to not allow people to see your playlist. This is not a virus; it's part of the program.

You can't download the music, but you can listen to it.

It is mainly geared towards kids on college campuses. People who are in their "network" can share music with each other
