Hi, I was chatting with a friend last Saturday. I asked him if there was anything new, and he told me about a gay's e-mail to him. The gay guy wanted my friend to try him out in a sexual way, and I asked him if he wanted to. Instead of answeing my question, my friend asked if he should stay in touch with this gay guy, I told him it's totally up to him. To this my friend's response was "You take." I truly don't understand what he meant by that, although I tried to ask him. Since he was having a conference over the phone, he had to sign out. I'd like to ask people out there what you think of his reply, "You take." I'm really befuddled. Please help me out. Thanks a lot for your input. :D
p.s. I'm a female, and my friend is straight.

Perhaps your friend is not that straight... he could be clearer in his answer or maybe he has not realized himself what he wants or is afraid you will reject him if he declares himself gay. Anyway he is trying to tell you something he does not dare to do so openly so if you really care try to talk to him and listen carefuly to what he has to say . Try to make him sure about your interest but first of all thik yourself if he would be gay : would it change your friendship? Remember to demonstrate you are a good listener.
It is very important for a person in trouble to feel he has your atention and comprehension and try to be true in what you think ,feel, and say.

Your friend is not straight. I think he's trying to tell you something. Sit down and talk to him. Will his being gay or curious change your friendship?
