I actually breed mice (http://mice.wordpress.com). Of course, like with most small animals, it's really easy for the actual breeding to take place. However, please make sure that you think about what you're getting into, first. It's quite possible for something to go wrong during the pregnancy and/or birth, which could result in death for both the mother and the pups. If you're breeding your favourite female- realise that there is a chance you could lose her.
Also do some reading into genetics. Unless you have mice with interested coat types, colours, or markings, it might be hard to find homes for them. Don't just plan to dump them off at a pet store- remember that they'll likely become feeder mice if you do that.
Do some more reasearch and planning first :)
As for the actual breeding- it can take as little as one night to five or so days for the female to become pregnant, based on her cycle. Sometimes it can take longer based on each mouse's fertility. The gestation period is about 19-21 days, but once again, it can take longer. The baby mice and mother shouldn't be disturbed for at least 3 days- longer if she's not trusting. Remove the female before handeling the babies. Babies can be weaned at about 4 weeks of age- the girls can stay with the mother longer, but the males should be removed to avoid accidental pregnancies.
That's the basics!

If I am correct in assuming that you want to breed mice as feeder animals for something, I would advise you not to do it. Forgive me if I am incorrect on this..I will answer the "how to" question after this next paragraph.
They breed and have litters in less than a month and become sexually active a month after birth. You will find yourself with way too many mice, not enough cages and not enough money to feed them properly so that they can be good food for whatever you are feeding. If you ARE using them as a feeder animal, remember that you want a healthy mouse with body fat and not one that is skin and bones and unhealthy. You will be overrun in an effort to avoid spending a couple bucks on a mouse for food every few weeks.
if for some odd reason you wish to breed mice for pets or such, everyone was pretty much correct about just putting a male and female together and they will figure it out. If you are breeding rodents for pets or to supply a feedstore, again I wouldn't advise it. It is not a money making venture and will actually cause you to lose money if you wish to house and feed them properly.

Put a male and a female into the same cage. Mice reproduce very quickly. They will rapidly multiply and within about a few months you will need a larger cage. Mice breed as fast as, well, mice.

Ive always have had one male in a cage with multiple females, to me this limit the confrontation between any other males that would fight for the right to breed with the females. You might also want to contact a local rat and mice breeder, they maybe more helpful.

Mice body structure is 40% human like.
So let them breed as humans do.

Put a female in with a male. Take her away from the male in about a week and put her in a tank by herself. In about 18 or 19 days you will have pups.
