The military blunders in Lebanon and Gaza seem to show the once well respected IDF has been degraded by time to become barely sustainable in battle. The beating they took from Hezbollah anti tank weapons indicates a loss of effectiveness. I understand fighting shadows is hard but I expected them to be more effective. Now they even attacked a Press vehicle what hapened to their night vision???

You said it best, fighting shadows is hard. I wouldn't say they took a beating. What are you basing your opinion on? Or is it just an opinion. The IDF could still whip the entire Arab Middle East in 6 days like they did in the 60s

The answer to your question is do you think all Americans are uninformed and/or unconcerned about America's relationship with Israel?

The reality: Millions of Americans are aware that US foreign policy has been hijacked by the Israeli War Party - and they cannot get their voices heard because of US media news censorship.
