As an investigator I am here to tell you this is a form of a Fishing scam. The way it works is they will ask you for all kinds of personal information and then eventually they will tell you that they need your bank account info so they can put the money in your account. the next thing you know they have stolen your ID and drained your account and disappeared and you have nothing. I would suggest you just delete it and never give anyone any kind of personal information over the Internet unless you are sure it is something that you asked for and even then be very very careful.

WARNING: Anything that asks for all that information IS A SCAM. Meaning Suckers come in all makes. Foreign fields love to target Western countries, because we are all so ready to jump over and spend money and are so willing to give out information. STOP NOW - they only want to use your personal information. Unless you enter a contest and have the rules - you have NEVER NEVER won anything.

It is a scam. The real and legit ones do not notify by email. They notify by return receipt snail mail and do not require that information for confirmation.
You should report this to the FBI site for these crimes.

Do as you desire. You are the one who will spend years and thousands of dollars repairing your stolen ID and damage to your credit.

The same principle you apply getting a prize notification email from anywhere: If you've never entered it, you couldn't have won it.

It sounds like a fishing expedition to me. If you haven't entered a contest, assume it's fake. There are too many scammers out there!

Assume it's a scam. It's not worth the trouble.

It's a SCAM! You don't recall entering it, now do you? Of course not! If you didn't enter, how could you possibly win? Of course you can't.
Just delete it.

Forget about it, the moment you send the info, you will experience SPAM, and then TRAPS... (in making you losing money).
Best is to ignore it.
