Because they can't control their anger.
It is lame and unexuseable. Women rarely hit them back. Those who hit women are lame covards. Get some self -defence training. They usually sence the strong hand and won't dare laying their hand on you.

Hopefully you dis-regarded the comment "Mike" made..I would looove to be his 'wife' or 'girlfriend' if that's how he really thinks! WOW! Very sad!
Anyways, Men who hit women are VERY insecure and don't feel in control of much, so when they have the opportunity to control something, they go full force. Also, 85% of the time, their Dads hit their Moms. It's a sad, vicious cycle. Either they turn out exactly like their Dads or 150% opposite. Let me just throw this out there too.. if a guy does hit you, he will do it again. Even if he tells you he will never do it again... It is TOTAL BULLSH$%!!
There are also women that hit men too...and it's just the same..'it's all about control' and insecurities. If someone is hitting you or someone you know...make sure you or they get out now, because a high percentage of the time, it turns out deadly.

Because they are twice our size and can! and Attention Seeking Behaviors, and Too many get away with it.....this one crime should be placed as a Felony and given the death penalty, cuz abusers don't change they just move on to the next victim!
