Most lizards eat meal worms or crickets. If the lizard is small you can go to your local pet store and get small crickets and/or meal worms.

Why the hell would you get a pet if you don't even know what it eats? There are different kinds of lizards and they eat different things. Some eat insects some eat fruits and veggies. Find out what kind of lizard you have and look up some care sheets on line for it. Next time think before you buy an animal. They aren't toys. Now hurry up before you kill the thing.

Ummm...it might help knowing what type of lizard you have. Most lizards eat mealworms, crickets, etc. but it depends on its size and species. Try doing a search for the type of lizard and I guarantee you will find alot of information. You should also make sure that you have the right habitat for the lizard - check to see if your species needs a heat lamp, etc. and you can get everything at the pet store.

You should really know what type of lizard it is.
If your lizard is an iguana, feed it vegetables, as iguanas are strict vegetarians and eating protein can shorten their life span.
No offense, but you should have been more prepared to care for a pet before you got it.

Find out what it is first! The same thing you feed one lizard could cause serious problems for another! Don't feed it anything until you do some research!

I had an iguana and he wouldn't eat crickets to save it's life!!! they would sleep next to my lizard! I would buy fruit, Bananas, strawberrys, watermelon, etc. and blend it... but it in tupperware (Grandmother sales it and I swear by it!) It depends on how much you make but he looooooved it! Roman lettuce is also good to him too. Go to your local pet store and buy some vitamins also. It comes in a powder form and you can just sprinkel it on his food. He'll gobbel every bit up!

tell us what kind of lizard it is then I could send you a care sheet, but try crickets and see if it'll eat them, e-mail me telling what kind of lizard it is and I can then tell you what exactly the diet for it should be and if you don't know what kind of lizard it is you shouldn't even have it but send a pic and maybe I can help identify it.

Crickets are good, cheap and easy, you get a dozen for a couple of bucks at the pet shop. Try to get your little scaly guy to take them from your fingers, you will find this gives him more trust with you and more personality. Hope this helps.
