A whole freaking lot of 60s bands recorded "Gloria". Them's version was most famous. The Buckinghams were famous for "Kind of a Drag".

"Gloria" doesn't appear in any of their currently available albums, which includes their stuff from the 1960s. So it doesn't seem likely.
