How do you remove an initial nose piercing? Mine is like a nail (with the flat head being on the inside of my nose) and a ball on the outside. I have tried twisting the ball to possibly unscrew it, but that just makes the whole ring rotate. Please help!

sounds like you were pierced with a labret stud, you'll most likely need to go back to the studio to have them change it for you, as you'll need hemostats to hold it still (the post) and unscrew the ball...if you have these then you'll be able to do it at home.

For most nose rings that have the flat side inside the falt back should just slide off to one side.

wow- i never heard of one like that- mine goes thru and then twists off to the side-

also i know of some with a ball on the end

go back to the place who did it and have them change it for you. you may have to pay but its worth it! :)
