Isn't this a stupid question? It's like. Why are there morons? Why are there Bush supporters? Why are there racists? Why do people kill people? If they wanted to know the truth they wouldn't ask such stupid questions.They always put comments like mine here in the detail. I come across these and wonder if they are morons, until I see the details here, and realise that it's not a question, it's a political insult, or statement. Insults and name calling serve no purpose, and then they wonder why people hate each other. It's because they call each other names like morons. I mean didn't it make you mad when I said "all those morons" in this statement. Like I'm insulting those poeple. I said morons just to show that these questions are silly.

I'll give you that 95 times out of a hundred.
But there are a few valid questions, even if they are general, because sometimes the best way to understand how someone thinks is to ask a broad question and let them ramble.
But mostly, I'd agree that in such circumstances the question itself is nothing more than a rant, and the person is merely looking for validation.

I agree; people use Yahoo Answers as a way to preach their policital views, and don't even bother to ask actual questions?
