Yep. It has to do with centrifugal force. Remember that thing you did as a kid, with swinging a bucket of water on a rope, and you could swing it around in giant vertical circles, and the water wouldn't come out? that was because centrifugal force was holding it in.
Same thing with the roller coasters. When it does a back flip, the force is actually holding you into the seat. If it flipped the other way, it would throw you out. People with roller coasters that toss passengers out go out of business very quickly, so all roller coasters are made with back flips or sideways corkscrew flips.
Now you can put your stomach back in place and enjoy the ride...

I would think that it's because of the possibility of the coaster getting stuck and rolling to the bottom of the loop. In a "back flip" type loop, if power shuts off or something, the coaster will roll right back to allow people to be right-side up, but if it were to go into a "Front-flip" type loop, if it got stuck and rolled to the bottom of the loop, everyone would be upside-down, and that wouldn't be good because everyone's blood would rush to their head. Does that make sense? :\

Because of the amount of centripetal force and the number of G's could cause it to run off the tracks, and if the tracks hold the ride firmly, you could literally get thrown out of your seat.

The blood rush to the head would greatly increase the likelihood of strokes.

I don't know either, but I guess that unless you're head was strapped down to the seat REALLY well, you'd get insane whiplash and neck trauma.

not sure.
but that would be freakin amazing.
i guess nobody has been able to figure it out yet?
but i'm sure they will.
i mean hey..in cincinatti they got a wooden coaster to do a loop..
so i'm sure they'll figure it out somehow.

Um...hmm...Well, maybe people can't hold on very well? Uh...Maybe there would be a flaw, that could cause a wreck. I really, don't know, but I don't work in construction, so...I hope I answered your question.
