This is from the same movie about personal loss and growth as another Q I posted which no one got. So, 2nd chance, and a hint: "After all, it's all just one long goodbye..." Hint, hint -- it's a movie about losing loved ones.....

Rosanna Arquette, in I'm Losing You. A very touching movie, maybe bordering on touchy-feely for some folks, but I didn't think so. She washes the body of her brother's young daughter, and recites the above as part of the ritual cleansing. Quite a few good actors and actresses in a tale of losing loved ones. One character, in consoling the man who had not only lost his young daughter to a car wreck, but who also had not been present at the death of his lover when she passed, well, he consoled him by trying to make him understand about not being there at the end to say goodbye, and so tells him, "after all, it's just one long goodbye..." So poignant. if you haven't seen this little gem I highly recommend it, oh, and have a hanky or a box of kleenex nearby.
