Basically you're on for 2-4 hours. Normally my computer is on but I'm always on my bed or on my chair doing something else. Sometimes I go on the computer for HOOOURS on end (like 12-15 which is way too much).

For the sake of your brain, even 2 hours is a lot (if you're bugging out with your face 6 inches away form the screen), but if you sit in a farther distance, say two feet, it's okay for you. Most of the time I'm on for a few hours (like actually paying attention) and going out for the rest of the day then eating and sleeping at night.

You should go out with your friends though, MUCH more fun than simply chatting with them online. I've had friends go "why aren't you on anymore?", then I reply with "well why don't you come out and hang out with me anymore??"

Seriously, =).

All the time is way too much time. You should be on the computer no more than 22 hours per day. 23 tops.

It's all relative. Is any of it job related, of any purpose, or are you just farting around? Do you get antsy if you're not on the internet? That would be the real question. Is it interfering with social activities? Only you can answer this one, but I would suggest cutting it back a little bit, but it doesn't seem like you're too extreme yet.
