why cant people just take a joke,i mean lighten up a little,there's no harm in joking around for a bit

Let's define a joke:
A humorous anecdote or remark intended to provoke laughter; "he told a very funny joke"; "he knows a million gags"; "thanks for the laugh"; "he laughed unpleasantly at his own jest"; "even a schoolboy's jape is supposed to have some ascertainable point"
jest: activity characterized by good humor
antic: a ludicrous or grotesque act done for fun and amusement
tell a joke; speak humorously; "He often jokes even when he appears serious"
a triviality not to be taken seriously; "I regarded his campaign for mayor as a joke"
act in a funny or teasing way
Basically, lighten' dafuckup!

Humor is subjective. Especially if the person is the "butt" of the joke. For it to be "taken" as a joke, it depends on the mood of the person, timing and content. Sometimes you can offend a person without them ever telling you or you even knowing.
Lesson: Tell jokes or joke with ONLY people you know very well.

like others have and will say some peps will think to much over something that was meant funny. and most times when you think of it (the joke) will get a Little old.sometimes others just think Little faster than others or sometimes others just take everything way to seriously!like the Dumb blond jokes that some like others just did not because they have either 1 heard them 2 many times or just think about it to much

Not every joke is funny to all people. There are some jokes that are mean and cruel and demeaning.

depends on what u r jokin' bout. if u r joking bout him or her being gay n laughing right in the person's face den u should'nt be afraid to get ur as s kicked. but hell some people are a bunch of really very sensitive losers!
