No, I am not trying to steal a car, smarta-s-s-es! The ignition is locked up on my car and obviously it wont start if its locked up. By the way the car is a 85 Honda Accord.

what kind of car? The ignition switch must be bypassed using the red and two yellow wires that are underneath the dash just before the steering column. cut these wires and twist the two yellow together. Once this is done slowly press the red wire to the yellow ones if the starter does not kick on, arc the two wires by stricking the copper wire ends together to build the charge. Then press and hold till the car starts then release.

You bypass what the key does by making electrical connections.
The ignition switch also needs to be released. It is not like the movies. Some older cars without locking steering columns, were possible to switch some wires under the dash but that has not worked in years...

You have to somehow tear the ignition out with a hammer and crowbar.......lol then start it with a screw driver

call a locksmith, you will end up messing your car more than a good locksmith will cost.
