Physical attraction usually comes first. We can't see your mind and heart to know what you are like on the inside until later.

You don't have to be seriously hot (although it helps) to get attention. You should always be well groomed and well dressed for the style you prefer. If you like a certain look, don't change it just to fit in. All you'll end up doing is either coming across as fake, uncomfortable, or insecure. Be yourself applies to the outside as well as within. Make sure you do your best to stay in shape. You don't have to be at the gym every day, but you shouldn't allow yourself to be overwieght when you have a choice. Flab is not attractive.

You should be confident, secure, outgoing, have a great sense of humor, and learn to be complementary. You don't have to suck up to a girl, but you should be sincere about what you like about her. If it's a body part that first attracted you (like a butt or breasts) then find a way to express how beautiful or sexy you find her. Mentioning a body part is a quick way to get slapped by any self respecting girl. Eyes and hair are a safe bet if you can't find anything else to talk about. Making her laugh is a sure way to get her attention. Learn some good jokes if you have to, but don't learn cheesy pick up lines. They don't work on anyone with half a brain or more. Smile when you talk to her, listen when she talks and keep on smiling. This shows that you are interested in her.

Once you've broken the ice with the girl, keep her intersted with notes, a flower, phone calls, etc... Anything to let her know that you care about her and want to get to know her better. Don't spend a ton of money, but small things can make a big difference, it shows that you are willing to go the extra mile for her. After your first date, make sure you call her the next day to thank her for such a great time. Let her know you would like to see her again.

All of these things are very appealing in a guy. While we may find the head jock sexy, there are other things more important. If she's shallow enough to not like you based only on your looks, then she wasn't worth it to begin with. There is more to dating and attraction than just looks, so find a girl that has already figured that out. Then you'll be set as long as you treat her well, and she does the same for you.

The most important thing is HONESTY. If you're not honest, she will never trust you and your relationship will have problems. Most girls don't like shy guys. Being a gentleman is a must!! Hold the door for her at least... The worst thing that can happen is if she ends up being in the driver seat of the relationship. Be spontaneous & romantic. But most importantly, be yourself. I like a guy that has hobbies and interests. He needs to know what's going on in the world. I love it when he's outgoing and respectful. I hate guys that can't give me some space when I need it. As far as looks go, facial hair like goatees are gross and they prick you when you kiss him. A five o'clock shadow isn't bad though (kinda sexy!) I dated a guy once that had bellybutton lint and that totally grossed me out so take a shower before you hang out with a girl! Be yourself, know who you are, and don't change for a girl. Style, I think clean, cut, and handsome is great for me. Preppy, jock, or contemporary are options that are always hott.
Looks, I think that there's a hott look in every race, color, and style. So it all depends on the facial features and body structure.
Overall, in a relationship, admiration, love, and trust are always needed.

It depends on the girl... I look mainly for similar interests/values and a similar personality to mine... I tend to like guys that are more introverted because I can relate to them better. I don't really care much about style, but I prefer someone who doesn't look messy, and someone who seems to have some confidence (good posture/body language). I also prefer someone close to my height (and I'm pretty short). I like guys that are good natured and at least somewhat smart... and guys that don't act like idiots.

those solutions are hysterical. women (no longer women) spend lots time and $$ searching for the acceptable bra or shirt that pulls a guy of their course. Spend infinite hours in front of the mirror considering themselves. Victoria secrets and strategies is a save virtually committed to showing off womens breasts. I like my guys clean cut... I like men who havent been used and passed around from girl to girl. Someone who treats a lady with respect and doent try to impress her to the annoying point. Looks are a plus but I have dated some unfortinate looking guys..LOL
