What are the most effective swim drills for frontcrawl?

you can't just pick 1 drill there are alot and it takes alot of practice to improve and it depends on what problems u have

Well, on top of asking your coach, here are some drills
20 25 sprints
10 50 sprints
6 100s, middle 50 is a sprint
4 150s, first 50 is pull (using paddles or pull buoys), second 50 is kick (kickboards or just streamline kicking), and last 50 is sprint
these are sets that my coach made me do on my jv swim team

do you want to improve speed or technique?
for sprint speed do short bursts like 50's or 100's as fast you can for as long as you can
for distance speed do longer distances and keep building on it each day
for technique try finger drags (dont bring your fingers completely out of the water) or for breathing try doing laps wiht 1 breath

just do pull and kicks and stuff.
your coach should know too.
