Yes, living, walking proof.
We moved in together after 3 weeks of knowing each other. His children moved in with us a 1.5 years later, and we have been happily together with a few hiccups now and then for 2.5 years, and his kids call me mom.

Yes, it is possible to fall in love overnight and a week later tell that person that you love them, but, it may not be the best thing to do. It is one thing to love a person and quite another to be able to get along with that person for the long run.
This "love" stuff is an interesting subject, and what is "love" exactly, is hard to say for sure. It would be better to take it slow and try to use logic to temper one's emotions to make certain it is not just infatuation or good ole lust.
May things go your way

I met my first love on thanksgiving day, we spent the whole day together. Anyways, he was visiting my hometown and left the next day to go back to his hometown in another state. We visited every vacation he got, and chatted via IM. We realised we loved each other off the bat. I think the long distance relationship was the scary part. Eventually we drifted apart. He moved to my hometown about a year later. By that time I had "moved on".
It so sad because I still love him, I just never thought I could be with him because of the distance. When distance finally became no obstical (he moved here to my hometown), we were caught up in our own seperate lives (and still are).
I still see him and love him from afar. I think he still loves me too. I talked to him since, he says he loved me from the day we met...I feel no different..
So , to answer your question, yes I believe you call fall in love overnight..and say I love you the next day!

Why not. Emotions don't happen on any particular time schedule. But, here's a word of caution...don't tell the other person until you have a pretty good idea that they feel the same. Some people get freaked out when they are told this "too early". Just play it cool and revel in the euphoria of new love.

There is such a thing as lust at first site. Love after the first conversation. Love grows over time, sometimes it can be a short period sometimes it can be a long one. It happens but have the conversation first.

You can say anything you want, but will it make it true? Not really. If you've only known someone for a week, you love your own idea of them, or you love the way they make you feel. You can't really love someone you don't know.

Medellia 1984 is a smart cookie and I agree. However, the feeling is a start and who says true love won't follow? Believe!

i believe in love at first sight. but its also a powerful type of love because if you lose that love, it can really bring your world down with it. believe me, when you fall in love fast, you fall in love hard and when love is gone, you really hit the ground hard.
