I have heard that there are various ways (or styles) you can order your burger at IN-N-OUT. It's like some kind of secret that everyone knows about. They aren't posted anywhere on the menu, but if you order your cheeseburger "animal style" they will go ahead and start working on it with no further questions.

How many different "styles" are there? What are all their names? And what the heck do they mean? I think animal style includes pickles, and maybe something else, but I'm not sure. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks!

U can also get a grilled cheese there as well. Fries can be made "animal" as well. My husband will have a 4x once in a while.
I go for a double meat/xtra spread/raw onions. Yummmmmm.....

Double-double, animal style, all the way (mustard fried onto the meat, sauteed onions instead of raw, pickles, extra "special sauce")

All I know is that you can have your onions grilled (or was that the easy take out that does that?), and they keep it simple.
