Spanish speaking comedians are hilarious. Why are latin comedians here so lame as opposed to Mexico..South America...etc? Are they trying too hard to do "American humor?"

Last I checked both of them where Americans(I don't believe they jumped any fences), Their life experiences shape there specific comedy as with any comedian so clumping them in to general catagory of Latino comics is misplaced. There are many funny Latino comics and Carlos Mencia IS the BEST Latino comic today....Gabriel Iglasias is funny as hell too.

I think they sensor their comedy sketch because of the fear of offending some of the audience. Like George and Carlos,the others need to touch on subjects that most every one can relate to, hispanic, white, asian, black, etc. Some of the Latino comedians get to deep into the real latin life and it becomes hard for americans to visualize. No comprendre, see.

yea i guess you can say thats true. they give my kinds a bad name. especially carlos mencia....he tries wayyyy to hard.

They're funny sometimes but they do really whore themselves out to American audiences.
