They don't have the time to watch what is going on.. It's much easier to listen to the news and hear a 30 second explanation and take it as Gospel truth. Try following one major story all day reading everything you can about the topic. Watch the news and you will be amazed at what you see. I read the transcript for the president's press conference this week and then watched the coverage on all 4 major networks. None of them were accurate because they all pick and choose what they want us to hear. It takes time to do research and most Americans are too busy working and caring for their families to have the time. It is a very sad state of affairs. I awake early (4:00) and switch channels every half hour to see the different networks. Why in god's name is it important that Tom Cruise didn't get his contract renewed? It truly boggles the mind.

I don`t think your facts are quite straight. Politics has many faces and angles as "regular" Americans, we do not have all the facts. all we can do is research issues with the best possible information at hand. To imply Bush is behind 911 means either you are mad or just stupid. our system is`nt perfect, nor is it fast being a slow process is probably what saves our country from bad decisions just like you and I being allowed to debate this without change.I disagree with many issues at hand, but I always vote, and have learned to not get too upset at the left or right. Anyone can have the power, Would you know what to do with it?

People who wage war without a uniform do not get Geneva Convention protection. The Geneva Convention allows the execution of soldiers caught out of uniform.

There is nothing but blathering idiots like yourself to suggest 911 was anything but extremists. Period.

Trout are fish that we catch and feed to our children. You've already been hooked

Personally I would wrap every extremist I could find in wet Pigskin and lay them in rows in the desert to dry

They have been subjected to a significant mind control program, and have become so dumbed-down and frightened that they will allow any government to do what they like.
This is very unfortunate, because the end result is many wars in many countries, where many Innocent civilians get killed.
If it was possible to wake up the American voting public, then the world could be saved from a horrible and almost inevitable holocaust

it's simply the naive fact that "everything has been fine so far... so I'm sure tomorrow will be fine too"...

if I'm not getting tortured, why should I care...

so many don't care to think about the consequences of these actions... so many Americans think "rights" are turns you make in a car...

We're not afraid, we just don't need people from other countries telling us how to run our business. As far as Bush goes... nothing you can do because he's already in office. Just wait and someone else will take his place.
