my boyfriend uses the withdraw method how effective is this against pregnancy?

The pull out method is not very effective. This is when a guy pulls out right before he cums. This works sometimes but most of the time it fails. I know cause i have a handsome son as a result of this method. I love him to death though, dont get me wrong. There is something called pre-*** that comes out of a man's penis before he ejactulates. This also contains sperm which can get the woman pregnant. Birth control should be used if you do not want to get pregnant. Condoms, birth control pills, depo shot, diaphram, coil... there are lots to chose from!

This question is why they need to teach comprehensive sex education in schools. Instead of that abstinence only joke. The withdraw thing is not effective at all. Pre *** has sperm in it too. They have pills and a patch now, if you are on a low income you can go to Planned Parenthood and they will help you out. Use condoms anyway girl! The pill or patch is effective, but if you get a sickness and go on antibiotics the pill or patch will not be as effective and you will need to use back up. Be safe, be smart

Well I think it's like almost 100% affective but when u get drunk or carried away or if your in a weird position the odds are against you and you'll end up pregnant.

I was with a guy for 3 years and we didn't take birth control and i didn't end up pregnant....

You know what your doing so if you play hard ball be prepared for the consequences...

Not very effective at all do actually know for A fact that he withdraws I can answer that no why do women keep falling for that. It's your body get on birth control to stay in control.

It might work it might not. I used it for a about three months one time. We wern't that freaked out about being pregnant though. We could both afford it. Also one time we used nothing and she still didn't get pregnant. Here period was like 2 weeks late after that though and maybe something affected her with it, I don't know. The test was neg and nothing happened.

That said, If you don't want to get pregnant and you hate condoms then you had better get on birth control. Even with condoms, they break.

Not a good idea at all. Reason is because he emits some semen before he ejaculates so you can get pregnant just by that small amount. I also became pregnant w/this method TWICE!

Heck abstinence is the best way for you, since you don't know that in the fluid that he releases, even though he hasn't ejaculated yet, there's sperm! you only need one of those suckers to get pregnant.
