y=2/3x - 7/3
4x-3y = 30
y= -5x + 12
x+2y= 1 1/3

y=2/3x - 7/3

4x-3y = 30*

y= -5x + 12

3x+6y= 4 *

*In standard form, A, B, and C must be an integer.

Another thing that is useful to know is point-slope form of a line. The formula for this is y - y1 = m (x - x1) where x1 and y1 are points on a line and m is the slope.

standard form is Ax + By = C and slope form is y = mx + b. by just shifting the numbers and terms around, you can change their form:

1 2x - 3y = 7
-3y = -2x + 7
y = 2/3x - 7/3

2. y = 4/3x - 10
3y = 4x - 30
0 = 4x - 3y - 30
4x - 3y = 30

3. 5x + y = 12
y = -5x + 12

4. y = 1/2x - 2/3
6y = 3x - 4
0 = 3x - 6y - 4
3x - 6y = 4
