my eyelashes are really short. so i'm looking for a lengthening or curling mascara; both if i'm lucky. but i just hate clumping. i saw a mascara that had a comb. would that work?

Actually it's more about application technique. Avoid volumising mascaras as they are the most likely to clump, becuase of the heavier texture that gives volume.

If you have to use one of those ,make sure you have a clean mascara brush/comb to spread your lashes after application to prevent clumping. Do that when the mascara is still wet. Once it is dry, try not to apply more mascara, there's a higher tendency of it being clumpy.

Maybelline lash discovery should be great for you. or try sky high curves...

I like L'oreal Voluminous (but not the waterproof version). I use an eyelash curler on my lashes, then apply two coats of mascara and before it dries I use a clean mascara wand (just clean the mascara wand from your last tube and use that) and sweep through my lashes a few times and there you go. Perfect lashes!!

Any of the products that are mentioned are great! The secret to not having lumpy mascara? Keep it in your refrigerator. It really works, goes on smoothly and doesn't clump. Also keep your nail polish in the frige., it stays just like new.(no lumps, and doesn't get stringy. Try it, it works.!

I too have short lashes & have always used Lash Out (Loreal, I think). Apply, comb (you can find eyelash combs in the tools areas of the cosmetics counter), apply & comb again. The combing is the secret. Check out makupalley.com for their numerous user opinions - the holy grail of cosmetic sites!

Yes. Maybelinne lash stylist or the new maxfactor one with the yellow brush. You have to be careful with the comb to not put too much on at once but it works awesome for separating and thick coverage.
