"SILENT HILL" I dont understand the MOVIE!!!!?

Question

okay so in the end of the movie The mom and the girl were dead....so they died in the crash? if so then why didnt the cop and her husband see her car or the cops bike? also the cop was alive back when the other girl was killed......why didnt he age any? PLEASE SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS MOVIES TOO ME!!!
I cant watch it again to try and understand it myself

I just watched it too, and it's my belief that there is no explanation other than the incompetence of the writers.

Okay, I figured girl, her mom, and the female cop died in the car crash. The other cops did see the mother's car. Remember when Sean Bean first arrived at the gates to Silent Hill the officer said something in his walkie-talkie about it.

The main male cop did age a bit. I think Hollywood's make-up team could only go so far to make him look younger. (But you can tell they tried).

What I didn't understand was how the little girl was born. Apparently everyone in that town were dead including Alissa. Also, if Alissa was killed 30 years ago, according to the movie, why was her 'spawn' only 9 years old?

What, did you fall asleep and miss all the action? The mom and daughter-not the baby- were killed by the mutant freaks. They broke in and raped the daughter and shot the mom and stole the baby. What car are you talking about? The whole family was stuck there in the RV. The cop was the killer.
I dont think you really saw this movie.

I watched bits and pieces of it off and on, didnt catch my interest enough but I do have a Q too, why did the girl keep having dreams about Silent Hill? What was drawing her to there? If you know answer in your details or mail me, I'd like to know :)
