It's not tacky if you know how. Color close in shades will get a more natural look flattering beauty. If glam is what you are going for, more dramatict colors can be used. For glame you can even use some clown makeup and face paint, faulse eyelashes, and glitter in conjuction with you usuall makeup. Some makeup and powers have very fine gliter mixed in. Even if glam isn't what you're after micro glitter can still help emprove your look. When famouse people are on stage in front of a large audiance glitter can have an improvement even very far away without being washed out under the spot lights.

It all depends on the time of day and where you are. Also it depends if you are coordinating colors well or if you blend the colors. Say you are at work or school, using bright popping colors won't work because it could be distracting or isn't professional. But it would work at night at a club. Also if you are having problems with choosing which colors go well with each other you can use Almay color intense eyeshadow (around $6 at drugstores). That product has 3 different shades in one. If you have blue eyes it will make them pop (in a good way) and it has instructions on the back. They also have it for brown, hazel, and green. But it all depends how you use it. If you use eyeshadow wrong, it will look tacky.

Sounds basically glamorous, fun and sexy to me, but I'd really have to see the whole look. I can picture pretty sleazy as well. Especially if the rest of your look is grundgy or
"sidewalk hostess" with way over done eyes. The rest of your "style" must be complimentary to it.

if its that crazy thing that beyonce and scarlett johansen have been promoting, it's not cute. if it an 80's look you wanna get, that's perfect. but it to be honest, it doesn't SOUND nice.
