Depends on what engine it has. If it is the V6 or the 305 cid, buy something else. If it is the 350 cid engine, it is worth looking into. Could be just valve seals, that is not a major repair.

It has a 350 V8 and will really cost a lot to drive it. If that;s not a worry then go ahead and buy it if the price is right. Most V8 engines will smoke a bit when they get older. I wouldn't worry about it.

u should leave it because all the money you would use to "look into it" would be money you could have used towards a down payment to lease or buy a brand new car. good luck!

I'd leave it alone.Whenever you buy used,you take on someone elses problems,most you don't even know about but if your already seein this ,then NO don't do it.

you may be a young person who has an opportunity to own your first car,and I could be wrong,this does not sound like a good purchase.
