I was allways a bit vain about my hair but after having radiotherapy last year I now have to shave my head got to be feeling a bit low about everything and not going out so after being away from the area I started getting in touch with a lot of my old friends particulary my mate mick he and his wife have moved away but got his e mail address from a mutual friend told him what had happened to me he asked for a photo so he could pin it on the sweet cupboard door to scare his kids away but when I went to visit them for a few days his wife said that I looked better than ever now that did make me feel good

I once had a complete strange walk up to me while I was having lunch @ the food court in the mall & tell me I was the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen. And that was it he didn't want anything from me or any of my time, he just felt bound and determined to tell me so.
I also had the FUNNIEST thing happen to me & my best friend when we were in college. We have really BIG HAIR, big curly, exotic mine's red hers is honey blonde; I have green eyes she has huge blue eyes so you can imagine guys on the cruise are falling all over themselves to talk to us, right? So we are driving thru the mall parking lot with the windows down talking & as we come upon a speed bump these guys in a truck with the window down are coming the other way and we are going to go over the speed bump at about the same time. So this guy behind the wheel has litterally seconds to come up with something to say to us in the tiny window we'll be next to each other. You can just imagine it in slow motion....
The tention is building.... we're getting closer....
His whole face lights up... his mouth opens...
we stop talking long enough to look him straight in the eyes
ready to listen to what he's going to say...
And he says, "AAAaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!"
yep, that's right. BIG HAIR overload. All he could manage to do in the face of all that amazing beauty and huge hair was SCREAM.
Do you take that as a compliment?
I'm still laughing about it years later.

The guy I'm seeing told me I'm as gorgeous as Jessica Simpson (and I told him he's lying, naturally) and he said that I'm drop-dead gorgeous like the girls in the magazines. He also told our mutual friends that, that made me feel amazing. Last night I told him that I just don't see that, and he said, "well I do."

I was told by an old fiance, who I was engaged to twice, twenty years apart that I was the most sensuous woman he had ever been with. I thought that was so nice.

My husband, who has been through a lot of really rough things in his life said to me, "If I had to live my life over again, even all the bad times, I'd do it again because it brought me to you."
