I bought it in Hongkong. Do i need to buy an extra PC card?

it depends on the model, some have it built in, some don't.

yes, you will need to buy a external pcmica wireless card to connect to wireless networks.

look for G cards.

B is cheaper, but offer lesser speeds--you wont see a difference when you view the internet, email or talk. but you will when you share files over a network.

A is for security, its as fast as G, but it operates in another range, and is most expensive.

if u bought it recent , it should hav build-in wireless unless u bought lower end for a cheaper price.most of the notebook sold in asia r more advance in tech than here.e.g. they already reveal mini pc in market to replace desktop.the mini pc in here means slim design desktop only.in reality , they r not the same.
