I know that freedom of speech or saying anything that's true is allowed in America.

Can you name any countries on Earth that don't allow freedom to say anything he wants even if it's true?

Freedoms should be valued and protected. Letting any governement take away a freedom 'so we will all be safe' is too high a price.

Most countries limit the press. Even in America, our reporters are going to jail more and more in these past six years.

AND there are some harsh dictatorships in the world where one dare not say anything less than the company line.

And yet, there will always be believers in freedom. I remember reading about bible smuggling into russia -- taking great risks. Even though a people may be under a wicked rule, we must fight for our own and others rights to speak without fear, to believe without repercussion and to stand tall in the light of human dignity.

Whats the definision of Truth ??? I mean thats quite subjective. Who have limited your freedom only to include to say anything that is true ? If the freedom of speech is limited then it cannot anylonger be called freedom of speech. There is peolpe all over the world that is in prison due to things they have said. Organizations that monitor countrys that put peolpe in prison just because they said something is for instance Amnesty and HRW.

Countries that limit freedom of speech don't publicize it, silly. What happens is, you speak your mind and you are never heard from again until someone finds your grave in 10 years.

Thats the irony in it. Banging on about freedom of speech serves no other purpose than to make people think their country's better than others.
