FIRST, I would quit my dead-end job, then pay off all my loans, then those of my family. Second, I would give a chunk to my parents to that they could retire and have some fun traveling.

After that, I would build a house for myself, not anything too outrageous or showy, but something nice. I would then start my own non-profit agency, helping troubled teens.

I would also give some to my church which needs help on the building.

1. Give 10% to a charity. This means I will have done good by others and can then also decline requests from other charities when they find out I have been awarded lots of money.

2. Pay off the debts of family members and give them a small portfolio of shares each.

3. Hire a great holiday spot, like a resort in the Whitsundays. Then invite all of my best friends to spend a week - all expenses paid.

4. Give each of my best friends a bit of money too. Just enough to pay off debt or go on a holiday. Spread around the good fortune.

5. Invest the rest in a diversified portfolio after seeking professional advice.

6. Either quit my job or go parttime so that I can pursue my interest [I would go back to university].

I hope this helps.

First I would give our usual 10% to the church. Then pay off all our bills. Give a huge amount to our parents and then figure out how much to give to our grown children. Set up a trust fund for our grandchildren. I have always dreamed of living on the ocean and my husband has dreamed of living in the mountains. We would build vacations homes in each. Then we would go on vacation for a month with no phones.

First I wold buy myself a house and a car, because I don't have a car right now and I'm living in an apartment.

Then I'd find out if any of my friends were in desperate need for cash.

Next, I'd buy some business or invest in something safe.

I'd give to my church and to some charities, and set up some college funds for my kids.

and THEN I would splurge with whats left! Cars music guitars, etc.

Hire a crack security team; find me a nice estate lawyer, give some to various charities, give my son and his friends and my friends some $$$$ and new cars for everyone! Hire a full time psychiatrist, buy a few homes in various parts of the world, my own jet, cabana boy, couple of chefs, start a major abused animal and children sanctuary....live off the interest...that about covers it....oh, and go to all the tag sales and antique shops I could ever hope for!!! lol

I would take half and divide that half to charities, schools, and churches. Then put 2 million in bank for my son's future. I would pay all my bills. and cut up my credit cards.

Then I would get liposuction, 3 moles removed, 2 more tatoos, hire a personal hairstylist, buy a 1965 Ford Mustang (olive green) and a yellow Hummer and a Harley. And travel.

Build a house. A couple of new cars. Maybe a Harley for my husband, and a dune buggy. Put money back for the children for college. I'd invest some and have a new facility built for the Boys and Girls Club in our area.
