for basic Physics, it is required to disregard friction.
in producing a constant speed, a constant force must be regarded to produce a constant speed. Because if there is no forece, then there will be no motion (but then theres still the Weight Force).
If you include the friction, there will be decerelation or the retardation of speed, thus 'constant speed' is there no more......

i think so...friction retards speed, so it's practically impossible to have a constant speed.
