I like my motorcycle the most but Here in Minnesota during the winter when its -20 and a foot of snow on the ground my truck comes in pretty handy and on the days when the weather is not so bad but still to cold to ride motorcycle I drive my car to save a little on gas. Don't move to Minnesota if you can't afford but would like to own both motorcycles & trucks or cars.

Motorcycles are the best, they are better on gas mileage. You can get out of traffic jams easier, and when you have had a really bad day, just get on your bike and let the wind blow all your troubles away. The only down fall to the motorcycle is you get showered when you least expect it, and a bikers tan. I have 2 bikes and love riding everyday.

Mini Truck, its big enough for one or two bikes. Get extended cab though. Bike for 'local' chasing about (20~30miles or so each way, back and forth to work etc) You can go further but it takes time to recover, unless you have a BMW or Goldwing.
Riding bike definitely puts you in a better frame of mind for the day.

Motorcycles are great fun, and I wouldn't be without one on a bright sunny day, but riding in the rain sux, and riding when there's ice or snow on the ground is downright dangerous!
If you can only afford one mode of transportation, go for something with four wheels and a heater!

Convertible, sunny day, incredible down, tunes blasting, smiling passenger. Had a truck and quite a number of alternative motorcycles, yet convertibles are my sought after. while you're from NJ, there is room for you in mine :-)
