Classical, traditional, and medieval Astrologers do not use the outer planets: Uranus, Neptune and Pluto in their delineations, modern Astrologers utilize them.
Whether or not Pluto is classified as planet or not is irrelevant to modern practitioners of Astrology. The qualities associated with Pluto: power, control, transformation and the destroying or reforming urge, are still applicable whether it is called a planet or an ice dwarf.
Scorpio is co-ruled by Mars and Pluto. That will not change.
Astrologers use other bodies in addition to planets in our calculations, such as asteroids. Ceres, an asteroid, one of the bodies they may call a planet, already is in use by modern Astrologers. Other asteroids currently being used are Juno, Pallas, and Vesta. Chiron, a centaur, is also extensively in use.
In summary, it makes do difference to what Pluto is classified as, the characteristics associated with it still stand.

I suppose it is, they'll probably use both the "planets" and "dwarf planets".Therefore Ceres and 2003 UB313 will be added to the collection. However, give it 2 years and there will be tons of dwarf planets and give it a good 25-30 years and im sure another planet will be found.

Pluto being a moon of uranus is not yet confirmed yet. so YES it is still scorpio's ruling planet. they suspect that pluto is an "ëscaped" moon of uranus because it is wayyyy too small to be considered a planet, but the thing abt it is that it has got its own orbit . so they are still debating abt it.

yes it is, just because" they" have suddenly decided that pluto is a dwarf planet doesn't do anythg to us scorp's- we are still just what we are, we are intense, loving,giving (to those who we feel intensely about)and all the other things a scorp is known for- the greatest if you get us on your side, and the worst you can imagine if you seriously piss us off!

with demotion of Pluto, All Scorpios have taken a plunge into the never land of needless drifting....although it is hard to really see a difference in them, it is there..just don't tell them that..they will sting the crap out of you.
