I have played on a variety of sites. There are many different types of games on the Internet as you know. The most common type of game is the arcade game.

Some popular sites for arcade games are:
pogo.com
games.com
addictinggames.com
shockwave.com
albinoblacksheep.com
and many others that carry the same basic games.

However, if you are looking for card and board games, these are slightly harder to come across.

pogo.com has games such as hearts, spades, checkers, chess as well as several others.

games.com could be the only site I know of that has Monopoly. This site also has classics such as yahtzee, scrabble, battleship, sorry, and boggle.

A site that I just recently discovered is the site, gravon.net. Some of this site may be difficult to understand because it is in German, but most of it is in English. This site has games such as Mahjongg, Stratego, Connect 4, Tic-Tac-Toe, and Bridge.

All the games on these 3 sites are multiplayer. If you are looking for card and board games that aren't multiplayer, the best way to go is to buy the pc versions of these games, or play with a deck of cards and actual boards.

There are many other types of internet games, such as Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games. A great site containing a list of these, as well as their respective reviews, is http://www.free-games.com.au/free_online...
This website also lists games of other genres.

If you would like another website that lists a lot of different games, check out bored.com to find not only these lists, but also many other activities to check out when you are bored.
