i really am inspired by eminem i wanna be jst like him i wanna rap like him, but i aint into doin drugs neither had sex yet, i wanna join D12, oh and is Marshall really retired??? umm i liked the movie 8 mile can you tell me names of similar movies? like on a rappers life like 8 mile?

Good for you! You have a goal and you wanna achieve it. I too think Eminem is really inspiring and a really good rapper. Just don't get into all the crap that he got into(failing 9th grade, getting girlfriend pregnant etc.) Focus on school and then once your finished with that then do the rap thing. I don't know any movies like 8 mile but I suggest watching Eminem: THe E! True Hollywood Story-if you haven't already done so. Also, watch some other biographical films on other rappers like 50 cent or wat ever. If you really are good then you should rap for a school talent show or something. Then everyone can recognize your talent. Good luck! Also, yes he is retired.

I really didn't like Eminem until I watched 8 Mile. Now I respect his unique talent and enjoy his sound. I still don't agree with the lyrics to some of his songs, like Fack. The thing I admire most about him is that he doesn't care about the criticism he gets, he just went for his dream and shocked everyone by becoming so successful, despite being white in a black man's game. My advice to you is, GO FOR IT. As for movies, I can recommend Tu Pac's Resurrection.

I don't know about similar movies but don't watch "get rich or die trying" cause its all a bunch of bull 2 make people feel sorry for 50.

There are few movies, I knew that Eminem wasn't retiring, just in a brake. Besides not all rapers do drugs or get laid every single night. That's a falacy

Yeah it's true he's done from the rap game. He even said it in a interview that curtain call was all his greatest hits and his goodbyes. And hustle & flow is probably pretty similuar.
